| Situato appena dietro la Porta di San Sebastiano , ed erroneamente ritenuto un arco di trionfo , in realtà sosteneva il tratto d'aquedotto che alimentava le Terme di Caracalla .Un semplice arco del III secolo la cui costruzione non aveva relazione alcuna con Druso , figliastro dell'imperatore Augusto . Il suo aspetto quasi monumentale è dovuto al semplice fatto che attraversa la Via Appia , una strada importante . | |

This arch is situated behind the San Sebastin's gate and provides the Caracalla's baths with water and was used to be assimilated as a triumph arch. The buidling is simple and from the III century ( people are used to say that there is a link between Druso - the son in law of the emperor Augusto , but it isn't proved) . The arch's architectural style depends on the fact that it crosses the Appia's road which was a very important road . |
