| Sorse originariarmente nel III secolo d.C. sulla casa di due coniugi che ospitarono San Pietro.Qui il santo battezzo diverse persone utilizzando come fonte la parte concava di un capitello conservato in un piccolo battistero,nella navata destra . In seguito nel V secolo d.C. fu edificata la chiesa che venne dedicata a Santa Prisca , martire tredicenne decapitata sotto l'imperatore Claudio . All'interno affreschi del Fontebuoni ne ripercorrono il martiro. | |
| This church from the 3rd century was built above the former house of two persons who welcomed San Pietro. According to the Christian tradition the Saint had baptised a lot of people in a concave capital which is conserved inside the right nave of the church . Two centuries later the church was built and dedicated to Santa Prisca , a 13 years old girl, who has been decapitated during the the Emperor Claudio's reign. There is inside the church some frescos with the martyr. | |
