| E' una delle chiese piu' antiche.La leggenda la vuole edificata per volere di Pio I sul luogo dove si trovava la casa del senatore Pudente,in ricordo dell'ospitaltà che questi diede a San Pietro.E' dedicata ad una santa che non è mai esistita.Pudenziana e Prassade erano infatti le figlie del senatore.La facciata è ottocentesca,mentre all'interno si possono ammirare mosaici del IV secolo dai raffinati colori. | |

| It is one of the most ancient churches. According to a legend Pio the first wanted to build the church above the senator Pudente's house in the memory of the hospitality that he offered to Saint Peter . The edifice is dedicated to a saint that never existed ; Pudenziana and Prassede were in fact the senator's daughters . The facade is from the 18th century and the internal mosaics from the 4th century. | |
