| The Scala Santa was built by Fontana at the end of the XVIth century. It's of 28 steps and, according to the legend, it's the one of Pilato's Palace in Jerusalem where Jesus went down. | .It's protected from a wodden-case and on top of it you can find the Chapel of San Lorenzo, or Sancta Sanctorum. |
